The lock consists of several components: a classic 6mm steel chain, a gooseneck, a foam coating, and a plastic fiber coating. The steel chain, as well as the body and structural parts of the locking mechanism, are made of specially hardened steel. The term "gooseneck" refers to the metal tube that represents the lock itself. Excellent protection against abrasion and scratches is provided by a durable, highly elastic coating made of plastic fibers.
