The spirit of 1996, when the imagination of engineers was ahead of the regulations. Rapha presented the Novantasei collection (96 in Italian), an aesthetic tribute to 1996, the most daring, unusual and wild year in the history of road and track cycling. Cycling was experiencing a rare moment of colorful, disordered chaos. It was the last surge of the era of the "technological Wild West" in cycling: a time of lone inventors, improvisational welders, and radical geometric solutions. Back then, no shape seemed too bizarre, no fit too unnatural, and no material too experimental. By 1996, engineering had flown far ahead of the strict UCI regulations, which soon inexorably squeezed cycling into the framework of unification. The collection is already officially available on the Rapha website! 👉 Explore the Novantasei collection on the official Rapha website Our Ultimate service will help you bring this unique drop directly from Europe on a turnkey basis.
